Lady bugs

PWow what a great 'self directed learner' Oli is. His group read a book about ladybirds so Oli went home and made a ladybug out of play dough with identical spots. We'll done Oli you rock!!

Papa thinks Oli is pretty clever too.

Folk dancing

Wow what an amazing day and night time performance by the junior school. So great to see all the happy excited children, parents, grandparents and extended family enjoying themselves. Loved all the costumes from the children and staff especially Mrs Taylor's Nemo costume. Thanks room 1 you were great.

Values

Well done Oscar and Jethro for perservance in reading. Both boys always show great responsibility during reading time and readily help others in our class when needed.  It was great Jethro's grandad was able to see Jethro receive his certificate whilst he was up in Auckland visiting the new addition to the family.

We'll deserved boys keep up the great work.

What a handsome duo.

Kindly visit

When Monday arrived we were very excited that it was our day to go and visit kindly. But Auckland weather stopped us with constant heavy downfalls of rain. We then had to wait 3 whole sleeps before we could go visit all our kindy friends. It was certainly worth the wait with most of us wanting to stay and continue playing in the huge sandpit and tyre swings. A huge thank you to Ngaire (Ryan's Nana) for coming with us and then helping us with our spring art in the afternoon. Thank you to kindy too for inviting us, and letting us play on your awesome equipment.

Come on boys let's move this sand.

Just about got all the water.

Look at us the balancing trio.

Yip we are just hanging around.

So how much Lego do you think is here?

So Caden this is where I used to hang out.

Just going fishing with the boys.

Hey this is just like being at school, they have mat time too.

Thanks kindy we look forward to Skyping with you.
